Westcon Group Extends its Relationship with IronPort to Include Brazil, Strengthening its Overall Security Offering

São Paulo, Brazil, June 11, 2008 – Westcon Group, Inc., the leading specialty distributor in networking, convergence, security and mobility, announced that Westcon Brazil is now offering IronPort® Systems solutions to the Brazilian sales channels. IronPort®, which is a Cisco’® business unit, is a leader in security gateways for e-mail and web environments; Westcon has been distributing IronPort on a multi-national basis since 2004.

IronPort will participate in Westcon Brazil’s OneDefense and SecurityPoint programs, which provide innovative tools, market intelligence and product information to the international reseller community. As part of its OneDefense and SecurityPoint programs, Westcon provides product training and onboarding opportunities for resellers who want to include IronPort as part of their multi-vendor security solution.
